God's Kitchen of Michigan is a church-owned, 501(c)(3) soup kitchen established to provide free dinners to poor and needy citizens.
To demonstrate our love to God, Jesus Christ and our Brethren, God's Kitchen of Michigan shall combat hunger in our state by serving free dinners to hungry, homeless, senior citizens, the disabled and veterans.
God's Kitchen of Michigan shall not discriminate based on race, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, marital status, religion, disability or sexual orientation.

2022 Volunteer of the Year
Plaque Presentation Ceremony: Sai Myint (right) received the God's Kitchen of Michigan 2022 Volunteer of the Year Award from Pastor William Stein, Chairman of God's Kitchen of Michigan.
Sai Myint, a Western Michigan University senior, U.S. Navy Veteran, and Broncos Kitchen Foundation Board Member, was selected as our 2022 Elizabeth Brindley Volunteer of the Year Award winner. Sai has contributed more than 200 volunteer hours at both of our soup kitchens. He spent the summer of 2021 helping Pastor Stein serve nearly 8,000 free meals at Kalamazoo County parks, churches, and 58 West Student Apartments. Thank you for your service to our country, and God's Kitchen of Michigan. Congratulations.

Ken Lanphear, WKZO Radio Morning Show Host, received the God's Kitchen of Michigan
2022 Media Award for helping our soup kitchen fight hunger in Kalamazoo, County.
Ken Lanphear, the Host of WKZO Radio's Morning Show, was selected as our 2022 Media Award winner. For years, Ken has been a hunger-relief advocate, encouraging his listeners to support God's Kitchen of Michigan, and other charities in Kalamazoo County. He frequently invites our chairman, Pastor William Stein, on his program to update the community on our activities, and share menus and locations for our free dinner service. Congratulations, and thank you for helping us continue to fight hunger in Kalamazoo. God bless you.
